Reverend Sara E. Sadler
Lead Pastor
Sara was born in Atlanta, Georgia but grew up in a Maryland suburb of Washington DC. She spent all of her life in the Washington DC area before coming to New Florence.
Sara attended Towson University (2004-2009) as a music major before taking a break to discern God’s call for her and her life. She graduated from Shenandoah University in Winchester, Virginia, in 2018 cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Religion. She then attended Wesley Theological Seminary in Washington, DC, and graduated in 2021 with a Master of Divinity with a specialization in Public Theology.
Pastor Sara is a lifelong Presbyterian and has served in the church in a variety of roles, including Ruling Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Confirmation Mentor, Handbell Choir, and Sanctuary Choir member, in addition to guest preaching. She served as the Director of Youth Ministries at Trinity Presbyterian Church in Herndon, Virginia. She is excited to be serving as an ordained Minister of Word and Sacrament at Trinity Presbyterian Church in New Florence, Pennsylvania.
Sara and her husband, Thomas, live in The Manse next door to the church. While they do not have children yet, they have two very adorable “fur kids” named Clark and Cayden. Tom works in real estate, mainly with the title and settlement side of the business. He is a third-generation real estate professional in the Washington DC area. Together they love going to concerts, visiting museums, exploring new places, traveling, and watching sports (mainly the Commanders, the Capitals, and the Nationals!)

Tricia is in the church office Wednesday and Thursday 11:00am till 4:00pm. She has as church secretary since 2021, and considers it a blessing to be able serve the members of Trinity Presbyterian Church.
